I am excited to share my love of gardening with my community. There is so much joy that comes from tending to and preserving gardens. I feel connected and fulfilled in doing this and I cannot wait to share that feeling with you through these workshops. – Hadley

Flower Crowns

August 30 – 5 pm
August 31 – 5 pm

Learn the skills required to create beautiful floral crowns at our Flower crown workshop. After you create your crowns we will have a photographer on site to take magical photos of you in the gardens.

Harvest Preservation

September 7 – 5 pm

Harvest preservation is one of the most important and rewarding pieces to growing and maintaining a vegetable or flower garden. Taste test new vegetable preservation recipes and learn floral preservation tricks.  This is a no charge community event.  Come learn from other gardeners and growers in the area as we exchange recipes and share in the harvest. 

Seed Germination

Start your own selection of seeds from Muz and Poppies collection of cut flower, vegetable, and herb seeds. You will learn about seed germination using different potting mediums, fertilizers, watering methods, and light sources.

Perennial Gardens

Join us to learn which perennial varieties thrive in our climate, how to tend them, and gain an understanding of plant division and propagation.

All About Dahlias

Dahlias are one of the most rewarding flowers to grow, full blooms, hundreds of shapes and sizes, and the ability to propagate unlike any other plant. Come learn everything I know about these garden gems from seed to storage.
